BetterMaps

Ever since the University of Michigan ditched the stylish and reliable mobile and desktop bus tracking system called DoubleMaps, things have been really rocky and, let's just say "hated" by almost every student.

Since the new University of Michigan Magic Bus System is now sourced from Clever Devices, which also has endpoints where you can fetch data on your own given an API key, I decided to take matter into my own hands and make a better bus system app, appropriately named BetterMaps.

It's often difficult to cut through the noise and get straight to the important parts of videos/lecture recordings. What if we could crowd-source this data amongst our peers within the university for lecture recordings and the public for other widely viewable content?

Enter EngageMe, a chrome extension that tracks viewer engagement and emphasizes the most interesting parts of the video to the user in the progress bar.
